DC & HC

High Cube and Standard Shipping Containers

DC (Dry Container) — standard container for general dry cargo. HC (High Cube) — stands 9.6 ft tall, one foot higher than a standard container, providing extra vertical space. Perfect for tall, bulky, or unusually shaped shipments. All containers are readily available.

REF/REFRIGERATED

Refrigerated Containers

Reefer containers are engineered to create and maintain optimal conditions for temperature-sensitive cargo, such as food, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals. All CK Line vessels are equipped with power outlets for refrigerated containers.

OT/OPEN TOP

Open Top Container

An open-top container is a specialized shipping container with a removable roof, allowing cargo to be loaded from above via crane. It is ideal for oversized cargo that exceeds standard container height and cannot be easily loaded through the door. Transportation is available upon arrangement.

Flat Rack

A flat rack container features two end walls and an open platform, making it ideal for transporting oversized or heavy cargo that cannot fit into standard containers, such as machinery, yachts, or construction materials. Transportation is available upon arrangement.

DG / DANGEROUS GOODS

Shipping Hazardous Materials

We transport dangerous goods by arrangement, covering hazard classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9 (excluding petroleum products). Certain hazard classes require special handling:
  • Classes 2.2 and 2.4 — transported in tank containers.
  • Classes 4.15–4.18, 5.21–5.23, 6.1 — transported only via direct shipment, without port storage.
